What?

You’ve seen them everywhere: the novels for middle-aged women to read when no one else is around. The ones with the stock photos of handsome men who have (gasp!) completely misplaced their shirts. These novels are the lifeblood behind Shirtlessly in Love, which explores and maybe pokes a little fun at the whole genre.

Why?

It’s all in good fun. I love romance novels, too, but let’s be honest with ourselves: they can be campy, ridiculous, and sometimes outright hilarious. I greatly admire anyone with the courage to put their words out there for others to read and judge.
